Females are usually bigger than the males and the males sometimes has more fluff than females depending on the season.


Body Features

Wolf like body

depending on if the species is an older species or not it usually has two half moon circles around each end of it's eyes.
Mountain vrikalos are more fluffy than desert ones.
Desert vrikalos tails are much different than mountain vrikalos and tends to have a slimmer body. Lion like tail I suppose.
Demon/Alien vrikalos are sleeker, have scaley like fur to them then fluffy or short, features no mane, has x like pupils, has demon like wings, and a reptilians like tail


Color/Patterns

Since the first few vrikalos was created in a lab to be the super companion of the royals. There colors and patterns vary from region to region and some vary in color and patterns.

Natural colored vrikalos that are just a solid color like all black, white, brown, etc are rare to see and are probably much older than the more exotic colors.

Exotic colored vrikalos can come in any color or pattern and some suggest that because they was made by magic that magic has affected what their colors and patterns would turn out to be. Others suggest that it is a mating thing to attract a parental mate. Others suggest that is is a warning sign to ward off enemies.

Eye color can be different and even multi colored. No mult colored eyed vrikalo is blind.

Food

They only eat meet and there chocolate is rabbits.
They also eat demon deer meet as far as exotic creatures go.
They tend to stick to live stock type of meet. Rabbits, chickens, cows, goats, lambs. stuff like that.
Experienced and older vrikalos take down the more bigger game like demon deer, normal deer, elk, moose, etc. A pack is usually needed to take down bigger prey. A pack is needed to take down demon deer because they tend to be more aggresive and feature fangs and feed off meet as well as plant life.



Venom

Yes these beautiful creatures can give you a nasty bite if your not careful. It is basically used a defense thing and they don't use their venom very much at all because it would take them a whole day to produce enough venom to take something down with it. They have a paralyzing venom that they use to temporary paralyze an enemy if they need be. They use their snake like fangs in the front of their mouth to bring an animal down.

Vrikalo’s Venom
Vrikalos two fangs that are always showing is basically snake fangs that are always showing.
The venom can effect the victim quickly and only takes a few seconds to kick in. Vrikalos are not immune to their kinds venom as it can be used against them. They are not even immune to their own venom. Ingesting the venom does nothing to them ,but if it is injected from bite it can infect them.

They have the ability to control how much venom they inject into their victims. Depending on the dose effects on how it affects the victim. A low dose can usually just drug the victim and make them immobile. More than that can make them pass out and even more than that can kill it’s victims.

Some vrikalos who have been kept as pets and trained in taking down their own kind are very well as controlling how much venom their body needs to inject into it’s victims.

It takes at least a day for the vrikalos to produce enough venom to use it effectively. However vrikalos that trained their bodies in using their venom more often can produce it faster ,but it takes a lot of training to do so.

Because it takes a long time to produce enough venom they often only ever use their venom as a last resort.

Defanging
Defanging usually happens by rivals or enemies of the vrikalo to keep them from using their venom as a defense mechanism . Witko is an example of this when his fangs was removed by the Organization that made him after he killed a couple men that way when they tried to torture him to see what his owers was. When defanging the venom gland is also removed so it does not end up killing the vrikalo since with no where to go and no where to drip out of/ from the venom can build up and sink into the blood system and kill them.

Packs

Packs are usually made up of 5 to 10 vrikalos. Some older and larger ones tend to be either rouges or loners.

Pups learn to basic hunting things at around two to three weeks.

Once they mate they mate for life and usually will not find another mate if one of them die.


Mating

Vrikalos usually mate in the spring and have pups in the fall

Desert Vrikalos can mate all season long because the temperature is relatively the same year round.

Pups can nurse up until their 3 months old if nursing for longer it is usually a benefit for the vitamins the mothers produce from their milk.

Mothers can be overly aggressive when they have young ones and might tend to lash out at other vrikalos including males if they get to close unless it is a mate or alpha.

Fighting

Vrikalos try to become skilled at using their horns during play fights in order to take down larger prey, but also risk killing each other since their horns are very sharp.

Some only use their paws to fight to avoid hurting their partner.

Vrikalos will usually use their large horn to puncture a main alter to take down a larger predator faster.

People who exploit this wonderful animal usually cut off their horns to avoid being killed by them when used in fights or breeding so they wont kill the other vrikalos.


Speed

They can run about 40 mph and desert ones tend to run faster do to sleeker bodies.

Alien/ demon vrikalo tend to run at about 40 mph to ,but tend to mix it up with flying depending on how fast their prey is.


As A Pet

With people who have these animals are a true pet or companion they treat them with great respect and usually creates a long life bond.

Currently unknown since the oldest vrikalo is still alive after thousands of years.

Breeding/ Sex

Male vrikalos are more dominate than female vrikalos. They can be rough and aggressive during sex that usually results into biting of the neck and clawing of the side of their mounted partner.

If the male vrikalo is gay he tend to like doing power playing where he switches from being dominate to wanting to be dominates. It includes biting and clawing as well. Their area tends to also draw the males in further do to their instincts of insuring pregnancy.

Biting tend to be a big play with the males as they hold onto their partner until their done and empty because of their breeding instincts.

Female vrikalos tend to be more submissive. Some are known to be more of a bratty submissive on purpose just to draw out the aggressiveness during sex. Their lower regions tend to draw the males in deeper within them to insure they have pups and will often beg for puppy making seed out of habit. Which also means their area tends to be tighter as if to milk the male of all their seed before allowing the male to withdraw.

Vrikalo Blood

Because the vrikalo is a magical creature more or less created by a god like being their blood has healing abilities when drank. You can often seen a wounded vrikalo being feed blood by another vrikalo through biting of the neck or arm in order to help heal the other. For the blood to heal themselves would vary depending on how bad the wound was. This also makes their blood very addicting to the drinker and can risk being drained of their blood if they are not careful. Their blood is of a red color however sometimes it can glow a different color depending on who the blood is from and has been known to be used in vrikalo magic in potions and what not that vrikalos who are skilled in the potion craft area has knowledge of.


Vrikalo Magic
Vrikalos is a magical creature and was created by magic. Though not many people know what this magic is or seen what this magic does. Each vrikalo is capable of having magic and each magical capability they have depends on who they are as a person. Not all vrikalos grow up to know they have magic they only know a little bit about their origins of being some lab created beast that they heard through the grape vine. However, some discover their abilities through extreme stress. Which is turn sometimes they never learn to control, or they only use it as a defense machine when in great stress. Depending on their species counterpart the type of magic and abilities they have can differ quite a lot. For mountain vrikalos their magical abilities seem to be more along the lines of elemental and can latch on to their preferred profession or just latch onto their personality. With the demon/ alien vrikalo their abilities and magic can lead more towards demonic than elemental and in some cases might be a split between the two through breeding. As for the desert vrikalo it is unknown what abilities they possess as they have rarely been seen. Only one has been seen around the world and others are left wondering more about them because they appear to disappear as fast as they are spotted.

Manes

Manes are usually a different color than the coat and or pelt color, Solid colors that match the coat of the pelt is rare. Multicolored manes are common.

Manes can vary in size depending on the age of the vrikalo and the region that they live. Older vrikalos tend to have a bigger mane than younger vrikalos. Mountain vrikalos tend to have a thicker longer mane than that of the desert vrikalos who tend to have a more thinner and short mane.

Manes are used for multi purposes and also adds in protection from a potential attack to their throat or neck.

Demon/Alien do not have manes ,but their neck scale/ fur seems to be a bit more thicker than the rest of their body minus the tail.

Furry Vrikalo Manes
Furry vrikalo manes vary in different styles. Some vrikalo trim their manes to merge into their hair and or act as hair on top of their head and tend to style it in various ways.

Midnight cut and trimmed hers to represent a pixie like style haircut on the top of her head and trimmed the front to merge a bit more with her thick pelt.

Virkalo Sizes
Feral vrikalos can get pretty large. The feral mountain vrikalos can get as large as 6 feet tall but not any bigger than that. Once they reach that height they are considered and elder or an ancient depending on which region they were born into. For vrikalos born on Isis and grow up in Isis their size is bigger than those that would of grew up on another planet or location outside of Isis since there is not their native planet. Which again many people suspect that the size has something to do with magic since they are in fact magical creatures so it would make sense that they would grow larger on Isis because of this.

Desert vrikalo
Because the desert on Isis is full of some of the most dangerous animals in Isis this class of vrikalo is still a mystery to researchers and scientists alike as some had attempted to catch some to study them. They seem to appear rare or at the very least hard to find. Though their natural enemy seems to be a dorakoia as some carcass of vrikalo and dorakioa has been found after a fight and since Dragon’s Nest is heavily populated with dragons that also migrate to the area to hatch their young. Which would explain why the vrikalo would be fighting for territory with dragons. The ones that have been found or seen are sleeker in build and size since their more adapted for heat.

Alien/Demon vrikalo
Since these are more of a hybrid experimental type it is hard to tell what their true size is as no one knows what alien/ demon race their DNA was mixed with when they was being created. Other than the ones who went to another planet to harvest the eggs they used in their experiment in trying to make Vrikalo Soldiers/ attack dogs. So they vary in size from tall to large to lean and bulky. Wing spang also varies because of this since they are the only type to have wings. But their wings are strong enough to help them attack from the sky to kill their prey as well as carry their prey off with them. Feral alien/ demon vrikalo are known for their air attacks. This class is also more muscular built than the other two classes.

Sizes in Anthro vrikalos vary on age, type, hybrid type, mutation etc. However no Anthro is taller than 9ft and no Anthro is smaller than 5ft.

Vrikalo Ear Length
Naturally vrikalos have very long like ears so they can hear things at further distances than certain animals and pick up the slightest vibration far away as it makes great for when their hunting and communicating with each other during hunting parties.

When born their ears can be a bit on the shorter side of things and grow certain lengths as they develop. Some older vrikalos have longer ears than younger vrikalos and some vrikalos have wider ears than other vrikalos. Basically, it just depends on the size of the vrikalo, how old they are, and even if their a male or female to determine just how long their ears might be so they always vary in size and width, but always have the same basic shape to them.

Depending on fights and scraps sometimes the ear can become shortened through a fight with part of the ear being bitten off.

In some cases, ear length can be genetic as where certain vrikalos with short ears could of breed producing an offspring with shorter ears same with a long ear situation as some can get pretty long.

Vrikalo Pregnancy, Birthrate, and Mating Information

Vrikalos are closely related to canines so their pregnancy and birthrate is about the same. A female vrikalo who finds herself pregnant with pups will usually have the pups after about 5 to 6 months.

The growth rate of a baby vrikalo is relatively faster than a humans and even faster or slowing depending on if the vrikalo is of the hybrid type or not.

A anthro vrikalo can have a litter size of up to 4 pups and can switch between feeding two at a time from the breast and give the other two formula and vice versa depending on which ones is feeding first.

A feral vrikalo can have a litter size of 6 pups at a time and the growth rate is similar to a wolves.

Vrikalo heat cycle can enter heat once a year near the winter. Whereas hybrids can go into heat twice to three times annually in the late fall.

The vrikalo is highly fertile so it doesn’t take much for a female vrikalo to get pregnant

Vrikalos often take part in marking. Where they mark their mate or chosen partner most likely on the neck or another noticeable area for others to see. Sometimes accidently marking happens if a vrikalo is to worked up in the moment. This goes for both feral and anthro alike.

In some rare cases a feral male vrikalo might inject toxins into the female in order to try to breed with her if he has so chosen to mate with a chosen female that hasn’t chosen him back. Vrikalos can control the amount of toxin they release into their prey/ victims to decide how paralyzed they want their food etc before feeding and or mating.

If a feral female is unwilling to mate with an alpha vrikalo. The male vrikalo will usually break their horn as a sign of disgracing the female vrikalo and humiliating her.

Most feral males are aggressive during mating season and have been known to seriously injury a competing male vrikalo or even the female vrikalo in the process.

Vrikalo Horns

Vrikalo horns does not possess special abilities or holds their magic inside of their unicorn horn. This is a myth spread by their enemies. Sometimes enemies with magical abilities themselves to deter poachers or hunters seeking to hurt them.

Vrikalo Horn length ( Unicorn horn )/ Horn appearance
The size of the unicorn horn is usually pretty big length wise and can vary in width depending on how the vrikalos grow and how old they are. The appearance of their horn is mostly a spiral look , rarely they will look just like a normal long and straight horn.

Vrikalo Unicorn horns
Vrikalo unicorn horns are not bent or curved at all ( some art of the vrikalos might show it sometimes because that is what the artist choose to do. Not something I choose to do). Their unicorn horns are straight and pretty strong. Though some vrikalos depending on how they live their life and or diet can effect how strong they are and can be broken in fights, falling, ect.
Vrikalo Nose Horns
The nose horn is very sharp and curved back towards themselves. In other cases they are called a curved dragon horn like some dragons have on their noses. This also helps them in defense as their face and head is heavily weaponized to attack others head on. Both mountain and desert vrikalo share the same type of horn. The demon/ alien hybrids have a bat nose horn rather than a curved dragon horn on their nose.

Horn colors
Horn colors depends on the coat of the vrikalo. Often different than the main color of the pelt and usually are the color of the mane. Unless they are solid color vrikalos like Yukiyama and Kasha who have the same color horns as their pelt ,but can vary in shade being more light or more dark depending on their color of their pelt.

Horns as Weapons
Vrikalos are known to use their long unicorn horns and their nose horn as a weapon either to defend themselves, fend off a rival, or use it in killing their prey.

Feral Information
Males when fighting over land will often fight using their horns first which usually ends up being pretty bloody and brutal.

The Toxic Trait
These vrikalo was created by another unnamed corporation that had managed to get a hold of a vrikalo and experimented on the young boy thus creating the toxic trait. Or as others call it the toxic fur pattern. This trait makes it look like the vrikalos are infected with some kind of virus or plague and can be seen running all over their body. These vrikalos do not same the same common powers a mountain vrikalo might have and has a different color blood as well. Their blood depending on the color of the toxic trait is usually a black color but can be the same color of said trait that is seen throughout their body. Their other bodily fluids are the same as well for example their cum.

These vrikalo also have an unusual scent that seems appealing and alluring to others within distance of them. Depending on their powers this scent can help aid them in using their powers against another individual.

For example Pluto has black toxic trait markings so his blood and some body fluids are black. His scent is appealing and alluring to others and his powers are centered around illusions. He can make anyone see, hear, touch, taste, or smell anything he wishes. Think you see your ex he can make it happen, think your phone is ringing and a voice message left, he can do that, think you see someone not there he can make you see them or not see things their. His scent he cannot control however as it usually has a lust effect on others and makes them fall into a dazed lust kind of love with him. Sometimes this helps him when he is in a tight spot when others feel compelled to help him.

I am thinking the best example of the snake fangs and sharp teeth is of the one with a redish color, then the back with be like for chewing food so like half sharp snake like fangs , plus the vrikalos fangs and then normal back ones for chewing since vrikalos enjoy flavor.

Vrikalo Religion

Vrikalos don’t really have much of a religion and if they did it isn’t really talked about much. They barely know their creator or the first vrikalo and often times wonder why their creator made them. Only knowing that they were created from a royal on their home planet Isis. They are aware that gods and goddess are real and at any time they can walk amongst them. As the Egyptian gods and goddesses had created Isis and they know that the old royal of the Moon Kingdom was married to a Norse god. So they are aware that portals can brings the gods in and out of their world. If anything, vrikalos would be very polytheistic and believe in a lot of different gods and goddess. Also because of the broken portals on Isis that some vrikalos can fall through to other worlds they are highly aware that they do not want to cause issues with other worlds they happen to land into with any of their religious beliefs in many gods. Even more so if they only believe in one true god. Some vrikalos might worship the first two vrikalos with shires ,statues, and figurines they can have in their house since without them they would not even exist.

The first two vrikalos to exist is Yukiyama and Kasha the two vrikalos that have been adopted in the Gauntlet Cities royal crest. A city and area that is also owned by the Moon Kingdom. But not the original family themselves. Gauntlet City is owned half by Midnight’s son Evil and her brother Grave who fought for the area. Yukiyama is the pure white vrikalo and is often portrayed as light or good as where Kasha is usually portrayed as darkness or evil because she is pure black. Yukiyama and Kasha are the first vrikalos so most of the vrikalos born in Isis are descendants of them. Even more so if they are Mountain Vrikalo.
