The mountain Vrikalos which are the ones that was originally created in the lab of Nightmare's City castle reside in the Moon Kingdom area sticking to the foresty area that is close to the mountains then most normal places. Though a vrikalo can be found just about anywhere the mountains ones are known to stay close to the Moon Kingdom and tend to stay up North for the most part.
The dessert vrikalo which is very rare to come across is a type of vrikalo that is typically located only in the Dragon Nest area where the land is the most dessert like in the whole world. Theses vrikalo have thinner hair than there mountain cousins and tend to be less fluffy than them as well. However they still carry the tread mark features of any mountain vrikalo as well.
The Alien/Demon vrikalo is another lap created beast ,but unlike their counter part the Mountian Vrikalo they was created by an evil origination that wanted attack dogs to help even out the competition and to get what they want within the world of Isis. Some suggest that it was the humans that led this experiment as the eggs was first taken from another planet and then incubated on Isis merged with vrikalo dna. The results became a more efficient hunter with added wings , x like pupils for seeing in different atmospheres. Still venomous like it's counter part ,but a more sleeker body and thicker tail.
The vrikalo can also came in just about any type of color or pattern out their from plan coats ,stripes, spots, etc. No one really knows way . Some suggest it is a warning to predators that might try to kill them like bigger more ancient type of creatures on Isis. Others suggest it might just be a way to attract a penitential mate. But no one knows except the person that created the vrikalo or the ones that are trying to study them without being killed.
